I need to practice some stick shif tand I need to do it before Friday this week!!!


My mom has decided she wants to come with me to get the car on Frday when I sign all my paperwork for the seller's check (@ the bank). But I was actually planning on her working, and then me:

A) Getting used to driving a stick shift after last doing it 8 years ago without the stress of having a MOM in the car. Holy fek

B) Surprise my mom with my amazing stick shift skillz. (She doesn't know it's NOT an automatic. I think she secretly hates manual trannys so I never told her it was one when I pitched the car to her).



But now these plans will FAIL and I will look like an ASS for the mom vulture to pick on and scold if I go to that appointment without at least a day or two of shfiting and braking and things before I get the car and stall out right there in the bank parking lot. She would try to sell the car BACK to the sellers if I were even remotely lacking in confidence when she got into a manual tranny car with me. FOR SERIOUS. DON'T THINK I'M PLAYING AROUND HERE. *panic!!!!!!!! groan*



SO PLEASE if you know anyone that is free and has a stick shift that can come out and help me get my learning on, I am looking to practice ANYTIME this week before Friday. As long as it's after 4:30pm cause I work till then weekdays.


PLEASE I BEG UND GROVEL. This is SOOOO SERIOUSLY URGENT.


This wouldn't be such a big deal if my mom didn't want to come with me on Friday cause then I'd have all the time in the world to get used to the car and practice in lots and the whole nine. But I fear this will not be so. I just need to become a freeking EXPERT in a matter of 3 days. *cry*
