My Recent Activity

June 5th OFM (blog entry) Just added a blurb about the June 5th Open Full Moon to the Bast Temple's website. At this pace, I might have the entire ritual written by the time that me and my fellow voluteer perform it.

Survived another round of finals (blog entry) Well, it is safe to say that I survived another semester's worth of finals. I am not sure if I passed all of them (there is a big question mark over Ancient Greek History). But at least, I didn't croak during the middle of them.

So now, it is t... read more

When does someone become a professional astrologer? That is my latest question that I am kicking around. And have I crossed the line?

As some of my readers know, I am currently working as a Staff Writer for the Community College of Denver's student newspaper, Campus Connection. Yesterday, I was home listening to some history podcasts about the Punic Wars, trying to prepare for that section of the Roman history class, when I got a phone call from ARC.

ARC is a thrift store, along the lines of Goodwill or the Salvation Army thrift stores. The wife and I have been donating the clothes that we do not want to them. So we are used to getting periodic calls from them.

Yesterday was different because I actually knew the person doing the phone bank. It was a friend of ... read more

So now, it is time to get back to writing for awhile. Or at least, as much as I can given the busy schedule over the next thirty-four days before the next semester starts; I have a carpet to rip out, a ceiling to fix, and several visits with friends, family and lod... read more
