i finally had my first "real" appt. today **:D** i am 11weeks, 4days.....first a really nice lady doctor came in, with 2 med. students, and answered about a million questions i had...then she gooped up my tummy, and started looking around for the bebe, which she couldn't find. i could tell she was looking waay too high, she was all around my belly button, and everytime i looked over at shane i could tell he was freaking out cause he was doubled over holding his tummy, so the lady doc called in another doctor to help her out... he came in and and when he pointed the probe down towards my pelvis, a black circle popped up immediately :D the first thing we saw was this black circle with a perfect outline of a little bebe in it, and the bebe was kicking both of it's legs, and punching both of it's arms simultaneously....it was moving SOOO much, nothing but punches and kicks (already practicing, martial arts ARE in it's genes, after all) it was so AMAZING! after all the kicks and punches calmed down and the doc started trying to get still frames to measure it's length, etc. we found out we probably have a thumb-sucker on our hands (little shit) one of it's hands was up by it's mouth the whole time, the doc said it was most likely sucking it's thumb, the other was moving around, mostly touching it's head and face. then they figured out that the ultrasound machine they were using didn't have the capabitities to measure head to rump, so they measured the circumpherence of the head. shane was so funny, as soon as the 2nd doctor found the baby, he started jumping aroung shreiking, "yess, YESS!!!"
it was by far the most amazing, most trippy, coolest thing i have ever seen... if this baby is as active when it grows and throughout the whole pregnancy as it was today, i can already tell i'm going to be pretty damn uncomforable here in a few months! i can already see i'll be getting plenty of punches to the ribs and kicks to the bladder, or whichever organ is around, lol....

WOW!! i'm still in shock, i still can't believe what i saw today!!! it was SO COOL!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
