His work is very dark and twisted, and supposedly was a huge influence on Tim Burton. Too bad all the details of his drawings aren't done justice here. www.geocities.com/SoHo/Muse...gbaby.html
Saturday we had a memorial service for my husband's aunt, Marion Roslyn Cale Reigle, known to most everyone as Sammi. Aunt Sammi died August 8 after almost a year's battle with colon cancer, at the age of 60. She was a dear person, someone whose personality lit up the room. Sammi was always kind to me and to my husband, and especially doted on our son Samuel...she loved to send him presents and special remembrances.

Just a quick hello to let you know that I arrived home fromTulum, Mexico late last night. Some of my friends were not so fortunate, and didn't have flight plans in place until Thursday. They are going to have to weather Hurricane Dean (now a cat. 5 storm) in Cancun, as the Dreams Tulum resort decided to evacuate them as far north as possible. Aside from the scary storm approaching, it was an amazing trip to a beautiful place. The people were warm and welcoming, the re... read more

about me
I'm currently an aestetician (skin care specialist), nationally certified makeup artist, wife, and mother of one son. I have a background in music education, although I no longer am teaching in a public school setting. I have many interests...history, politics, reading, cooking, comedy, world music, to name just a few. I'm passionately interested in the world in general. I play many musical instruments, such as violin, recorders, dumbek, piano, xylophone, flute...I hope to keep learning and grooving. I also like to sing, and have had the great experience of singing in the Charleston Symphony Chorus.
I am certainly more spiritual than religious. I believe that there are many revelations of God...many paths leading to the same central truth. I suppose I am a Universalist, more than a true Christian. I try to avoid ignorance and intolerance, as a rule. I live for music. I love my family...my son is the most amazing thing in my life!! I love candlelight, comfy surroundings, laughing so hard I can't stand up, long conversations with old friends, feeling connected...I love making others feel good, which is probably why I enjoy my job as a skin therapist.
