Various Rants and Rambles

Even though opinion polls have shown an overwhelming majority of Americans think the White House is wrong to back the sell of American Ports to Dubai Ports World (DPW), Mr Bush has strongly backed the $6.85bn (£3.94bn) deal, saying repeatedly that he would veto any law designed to block it

I personally don't agree that Google did "Evil" by censoring in China. China has laws just like we do. Its people may not be able to view certain things but at least they are able to view some. If the people of China want to be uncensored they should do something about it. It is not Googles place to fight for the people of China. China is the Evil Doer!

There are a lot of pharmacuticals that are sold in other countries that are banned in the US, but those companies still sell other ph... read more

The Bush Administration has subpoenad online search engine companies to turn over a list of what millions of people have been looking up on the internet. Google has refused to comply stating that it feels that this raises privacy concerns for its users. Other search engines including Yahoo, AOL and Microsoft have a least partly complied with the order.

In 2002 shortly after the attacks on September 11, 2001, George W. Bush signed a secret order allowing the NSA to track the international telephone calls and e-mails of hundreds of people without judicial or Congressional a... read more
