STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM
A poem by Blaq112:

Standing in the middle of a storm

Straight and tall as the rain hits you.

The winds howls and tries to push you down

But you never sway or bend just stand there

Feeling the sting of each rain drop without

Flinching you brace yourself for the next

Blast of wind to hit you yet you never complain

Just let storm do it's worst to you and

Endure it hoping it will end soon because

You are tiring and getting weaker yet you

Never cry out in pain or call out to me

For help as I approach you wave me

Away from you but I have seen the

Strain in your face the tears of blood as the

Wind shreds your skin and tears you apart

I ignore the storm and come to your aid

Standing behind you to brace you for the next

Blow that comes holding your hand not word

Do i say i just stand there giving you my

Strength so that the storm does not take you

No you did ask me step into the storm but

I do because you are part of me my love

Knowing and loving you as the man you are

It is where i must be with you in the storm
