so last night i put some polish on an up and coming move... i'm sure there's a name for it, but it's basically anti-spin flowers in what i think is the wall plane... where each hand is actually moving in a triangle. and then i lit up for a few people, one of which had never seen fire spinning before. it was great. then she asked if i ever switch hands. so i tried my under-utilitized tossing skills and landed every one. that was extra sweet.

so i've moved back home to pittsburgh. the girlfriend has moved in, which is nice. i practice with the fire poi (wrapped in old socks) in the living room where there's a huge window. at night it acts as a mirror. i'm sure the neighbors think it's weird, but it's nice. if i felt isolated from the burner community in MD, that's even moreso here. i'm hoping to get some spin jams together and stoke some sort of a fire even if it's just a few folks in a park when it warms up. from a distance it se...
