My contention is that one of the most positive and effective things you could possibly do to help others would be to help someone young to REALLY walk away from cigarettes. So... the next time you see a high-school student, or even a college student, lighting up... do the right thing - snatch their cigs from them, give them ten dollars, and tell them to spend it on anything except tobacco. Why? Because I solemnly wish someone had done that for me 20 years ago.
I think stop signs are ridiculous. Go signs make so much more sense.

The idea is, JUST DONT HIT ANYONE! Slow down, interleave with other traffic... it makes more sense, wastes less energy (drifting through would be encouraged, done safely), and would encourage people to drive HARMONIOUSLY rather than assuming they're going to be so adversarial that they need rules imposed on them other than "don't hit anything". ...just my $0.02
