about me
I'm a strict vegetarian with a sense of civic responsibility and geeky, left-wing, hippie tendencies. I have long hair, keep rats, have callouses on the inside knuckle of each finger, and enjoy exploring the fringes of society, although I doubt I'm breaking any barriers. I am a member of the Unitarian Universalist church, I write letters to my editor, and I volunteer. I make my living playing the piano. It's a beautiful thing.
I enjoy living the good life. I love delicious food, excellent sex, time spent outside... WAY outside, I like to take long naps, ready trashy books, and stretch out in a hot bath. Time spent in a hot tub with wine is good time. I maintain that it's possible to be a civically responsible, a balanced person, a sensualist, and a free-wheeling non-conformist all at the same time. You'll find me applauding strange relationship structures and attending kinky events. So now that you know more about me, I'd like to hear from you! Tell me about yourself. It's usually a good thing to meet other people.

The idea of altering your spending habits in order to support the local economy and learn more about the flavors of your own geographic area is very attractive to me. I don't think that locavorism is sustainable or practical- at least not unless the eater is as rich... read more
So, Saturday, April 1st, Richard Streeter is playing at Kat's Coffee. I'm going; if you've experienced neither Kat's Coffee nor the music of Richard Streeter, I highly recommend that you attend as well. If you've experienced either or both, you already know it's going to be a good time. I believe the festitivites commence at around 8 pm. Come for the coffee, the atmosphere, and the people, but most of all, come for the music.
