Yesterday we exchanged vows in the presence of our dearest family and friends. One of the loveliest days of my life, never to be forgotten.. It's a bit surreal this happiness I feel! Off now for our honeymoon and I still have to pack, so for now this short and sweet note.

a strange blend of excitement and stress this is.. we're getting married this september 10th and the joyful magic of it thus far has exceeded my wildest expectations and hopeful premonitions. dad's flying across the continent to represent himself and mom (god bless her soul). this is Huge for me as he's rarely made such an appearance in this quiet life o' mine. i got to try on my wedding ring the other day. the magic of jewelery took hold and i felt i never wanted to take it off.. 18k rose gold organically shaped with a gorgeous lotus deeply engraved.. ahhhh.. cally says it's so me. and now the upcoming expenses of hosting so many friends and family members! yikes. i'm overwhelmed, unsure how we'll make it. still, the Universe somehow always righteously provides so this sly stress feels slightly more squelchable. we're throwing a party in celebration of our wedding vows! september 27th, 2008. if you haven't yet gotten your rightful invitation, blame my memory and not my heart. nudge me and i'll send yours muy pronto. it'd be a pure delight to celebrate with you! more soon...

Dear Goddess, You who never kill but only change: I pray that my exuberant, suave and accidental words will move you to shower ferocious blessings down on everyone who reads this benediction. I pray that you will give them what they don't even know they want -- not just the boons they think they need but everything they've always been afraid to even imagine or ask for. Dear Goddess, You wealthy anarchist burning heaven to the ground: Many of the divine chameleons out there don't even know that their souls will live forever. So please use your blinding magic to help them see that they are all wildly creative geniuses too big for their own personalities. Guide them to realize that they are all completely different from what they think they are and more exciting than they can possibly imagine. Make it illegal, immoral, irrelevant, unpatriotic and totally tasteless for them to be in love with anyone or anything that's no good for them. this mama bug is raging full blast and is officially outta my personal control. every time i see a baby i turn into a puddle of "Awwwwwe n' Sighhhhh"s how i've spent twenty some odd years dodging those swimming seeds only to crave one just the magic one to synergize with me inside my fertile womb bombastic. an ex said ten years ago that if i'd ever want to have children he'd help me to conceive. tho' just when i gained enough determination to ask, he flipped the script before i even put words to the inquiry.. a friend, one sweetly fine specimen of a beautiful man, would be oh so choice only we're all too hesitant on account of interpersonal/professional relations as well as dis-ease that's possibly genetic and that part of me that says ask anyway lays defeated by a more cautious air.. dang. "why is it so hard to get hold of some sperm?" i blurted without restraint one day. a friend replied "i've got sperm and i like you kaya. i'd be happy to give you mine." his girlfriend and i turned to him in shock and fell silent. "((that's sooo great but you're so so young and i don't think you realize the profundity of your spontaneous offer))" i thought to myself. really though, i just couldn't see it even when i tried to.. y'know? Cally told me that a friend proposed with abandon "i can help you two!!" i imagined the surprised look on his wife's face when he made such an exclamation!~ well after halfway wrapping my mind around the possibility, i excused his exuberant expression of generosity knowing it was more the wine that did the talking rather than his clear mind. i know i'll be mama in a year, maybe two. i feel it in every ounce of my being. i know i'll be a phenomenal one too ready to take on all challenges with great care this feels for certain. now i only wish i'd know which man to ask and/or to say Yes! to... 2bcontinued

~got up earlier than usual to Shayla perched ontop of me peering into my eyes + a warm cup of hot coffee made specially by my darling, still digging on her sweet ritual even though I'm drinking coffee less and less these days ~learned the whereabouts of a special wine glass ornament I made of silver, thinking I'd like my friend to keep it as a gift ~was visited by my sister-friend Love and we shared insights about souls healing, alive or departed + a tale of recent trials for her accompanied by tears (damnbabysomepeoplearejusttoounconcioustorespectyourintegrity!) ~paved the way for mutual goodness between two friends I know ~drove around town in my freshly cleaned, newly tuned car, loving that it's running so smoovely ~delivered some hot meals to a few very kind elderly folks vitally homebound ~sent a package full of jewelry making goodies to my sister who's rekindled her creativity + called her up to let her know about her order and smiled a good one to hear her excitement ~went to the bank to take out some cash and found that I have much more than I expected as my balance ~thought to buy lunch somewhere but remembered our fridge full of food and that I'm actually not even hungry ~felt and gave gratitude for the abundance of Universe's positive flow through me ~hung out in our lovely backyard that I spent time in gardening yesterday ~put on warm socks straight out of the hot dryer ~went into my work studio to make something new and felt entirely content organizing and cleaning ~filed my business tax return, glad to have that off of my list for a year ~and now I'll putz just a little while longer on Tribe and Etsy, relishing the last hours of my PTO, then hit that workshop to get it all started again...> .-)
