What?!? What are you doing one *another* social networking site, you cheap belly-dancing alternative hussy, you? First you were the cyber-groupie following around boy bands on MySpace, then you tried to sleep your way through my 2,314,200+ third-level connections on LinkedIn, and then you were stalking my HotGirl1138 on HotorNot. Facebook, CrackWhoreFriendFinder, Zwinky... When will this madness end?
Don't you remember the beautiful times we've spent together? The nights in the Waste Management Facility in Prague, picnicing on the piles of decaying garbage, sipping absinthe, shooting rats with pearl-handled revolvers? We named the big one Whiskers. Don't you know how much I love you? Remember when I took care of you in Milan, daubing vaseline on all of your windburns after the nude hang-gliding accident? Oh, you were my slippery little sugarglider. Don't you miss the luncheons we shared in the sidewalk cafe in Paris (Texas, not France)? Yum. Chili dogs.
But I know we can work it out. I'm sorry I lied to you about the twins -- that you aren't really their mother, but their host mother genetic surrogate composite donor. But they still call you "mama", and they always will -- the other is just too long to say. I know, I know, it's a story we've all heard a million times before. It sounds so trite, like the a bad entry in a high school yearbook. Just know this: I love you with an eternal yummy love, and am so glad that you put up with me when I'm like this.

Kristina is a good friend and a wonderful dancer. She has grown greatly in her execution and expression over the last few years. Dancing brings her joy and one can see that when she's performing which only serves to enhance the experience of watching her perform. I'm sure she will continue to grow and improve and it will be my pleasure to photograph her progress.

It's official, I gave up my gold star status. I just couldn't justify it. Sorry, Tribesters. I hung in there for a long long time, but Mama's on 1/2 salary now and well, y'all just didnt' work well enough to justify paying for it.
I'll still be here, just like a plain bellied sneech. Star-less.

That's right, Raks Hakohaveem will be Rak'ing Sebastopol on Saturday, May 17th at Tribal Fest 8.
Taking the stage at 3pm, we will be performing our brew of Dark Tribal Fusion to a mix of electronica and alternative music, including the debut of a new choreography. C'mon, you *know* you wanna come see us there. ;) ;)
Tribal Fest 8 - May 14-18 - a Multi-day Tribal Bellydance Extravaganza that's simply not be missed, for dancers and afficionados.

Art geek, dance geek, coffee whore, avid reader, former late sleeper. Creative, hard working, passionate, confident, whimsical, practical, analytical and tenacious. A highly developed goofy side helps keep me balanced, which can be difficult while teetering on 4-inch heels.
