when joe-the-builder asked me where i was, i was checking my accounts whilst taking a break from the home-work our beloved task-masters (aka nik and carlos: my teachers) had given us, either that or packing my suitcase. and though i wanted to answer something along the lines of ‘where do you think montreal is?” i didn’t quite have the time for it.

- large stuffed animal (purchased 30 minutes before at your local thrift store) - bottle of wine or beer (recommended) - x-acto - 10 minutes till the party. result --> 5 minutes to drink booze before going out, and awesome costume, tons of fun and plenty of petting!

where else could i write a paper about my experiences in BRC as a course assignment! this is so sweet! i was actually inspired to enter the urban design master's program at mcgill after my first burning man experience last year. with this second retrospective, i feel like it's the full circle. i get to probe my memory and recall what i love about the place that brings me experiences. places and experience is what i am ultimately studying, how fortunate t... read more 
so i've been back in montreal for now almost a month, and have had two consecutive sudden encounters with cars while riding my bike. so in this past month i've wrecked two helmets, my road bike (that's right, my beloved godspeed is now just a heap of metal), my laptop, and my digital camera. hopefully the SAAQ will cover some of that.
