i haven't seen him in two years
i come to hear him Dj and he isn't spinning
what will it be like to reconnect with him without the DJ/Fan ease?
will it be an empty handshake with just a whiff of familiarity?
will we smile but feel our hearts close?
and then i see him in the crowd
he floats over to me with that incredible smile
and i realize that he is always spinning
the magic of heart to heart
spreading love and creativity and energy
just with the touch of lips to a cheek.
