about me
I am often described as a throw back to the 60 or 70's, a neo-hippie with a touch of romance and the gothic - a "dark bohemian rubenesque goddess."
Sapiosexual, married (polyamorous - indigo on PMM). Comfortably 30-something and mommy to an amazing 5 year old. When I am slaving away at work, I am the Data Administration Manager for a dot com, a business to business directory and publication. Not as technical as it sounds (my course work was in environmental science & resource management). My job boils down to a mixture of data entry and customer service, with a dash of office manager & office gluer togetherer. It's all enough to keep me mildly insane. I like my job 75% of the time - the rest of the time I am plotting ways to eliminate my boss, Wylie Coyote style (usually on Fridays). I love to read, anything. The bulk of my library (which runs close to 1,000 books) consists of sci-fi, fantasy, good historical romance & mysteries. I have been known to whiz through as many as 25 books in a month. I also write (dabbling with a couple novels). With the rest of my spare time: I knit (and other fiberarts), enjoy movies & music, play video games (RPGs and Puzzles mostly), and am re-exploring black & white photography. I am a green witch - very interested in herbs, candles and cooking, with a touch of Zen and follwer of the teachings of Christ even though I don't really consider myself Christian. One day I will live in a place with the area to cultivate a huge garden - 'til then I am trying to be creative with containers.
