Sinbad and other stuff

Not been a great year so far.

Sinbad passed away in my hands on the evening of May 7th. We are now ratless and there is a big cage-shaped space on our table.
They are buried together at Mum's.

My only other news is that my MRI results came back and I have a badly slipped disc in my lower back. 2 weeks before GS last year (October!) I went to the doctors about it and it's taken this long to get any kind of definite diagnosis. I have to go speak to a consultant at the hospital about p... read more

My poor little boy

Eyebiter my ratty didn't make it. He died in Ian's hands, Monday evening. It was such a harrowing couple of days. We all miss him so much it hurts.

A request for help

Please can you send a cuddle or a kind thought to my poorly little rat who suddenly got very ill. He saw the vet this morning who gave him antibiotics but she suspects it's his kidneys so we have to go back tomorrow morning. I need to feed him hydration stuff in water every half an hour out of a tiny syringe (so am off work obviously) and I bought him some smooth baby food as he hasn't got the strength to hold his usual pellet food and probably not to chew either.

Hafla

I'm off work and feeling kinda thoughful. I'm sitting in the conservatory in the sun with my laptop listening to Amr Diab, hee. I feel like I really needed today off. It has been a really busy and stressful couple of weeks...months?
