Jody is potentially the most beautiful soul I know; we met over ten years ago in the lightstream world of visionary plants and progressed to dreaming worlds and words into being, together-in-art, in a synthesis of energy and love that has enriched my life and given me strength that I didn't know I had access to.

His thoughtfulness, kindness, and dedication to his family, friends and life shine through every glimpse I have into his world. He loves without question, without condition.

I hold in my hand the hearts of a million tiny birds
each tiny life beating as one
their mouths open
stretching wide
their beaks meant to startle me
so perhaps I will drop them
and they will fly away free

I climb the fig tree
with the screaming, beating hearts
of these birds
the feathers like soft dew
but not wet
placing these tiny beings
in their nest
I descend
feeling a smile arise
in my own heart.

I think a lot about whether I hear clearly the patterns and calls through life. Sometimes they are really evident, other times hidden. Some are light and beauty, some are love. Some are sensual. Some are strange. Some are huge, some are small. Some are story, some are *here*, some are alive. They are all intertwined, and sometimes there is no pattern at all.

My art is creating stories. And learning from where I am at any given moment and who I meet. I love collaboration, such as the indie film (www.TheStreetCleanerMovie.com) I worked on recently. Friends are important to me, and my friends are people with passion, people who perceive true beauty, people who understand joy, people unafraid to be themselves, and people who love.

I also like people who fit this description by Jack Keroauc:

Here's an account of first-time ecstasy use from the early MDMA period, recalled in the Austin Chronicle in 2000:



"The street lights got brighter, I could see the stars, car lights, even the shadows in this alley were, you know, more so. And I felt this tingle that began in my fingers and spread all over my body, coming in waves, just this indescribable feeling of aliveness. It was as if the nerves in my skin had been dormant all these years and were just now waking up and stretching. Just like that. And after this initial rush of pleasure came an overwhelming—and I mean over-fucking-whelming—feeling of total and complete positivity. Any and all fears I had harbored about doing my first drug were waylaid instantly. It was pure bliss, but it didn't knock me off my feet, or feel scary in any way.



"My girlfriend . . . and I . . . lay in the wet grass and watched the stars and cuddled. And we talked. We talked for hours. We talked about everything. Everything. It was probably the best, most open and honest conversation I've ever had with anyone in my entire life."



Strange how life changes.  Is this kind of innocent experience possible anymore?

heya,



we trip through life thinking we should be here to have a good time.  and that's true. but who are we?  do you know me?  do I know you?  aren't we God?



we shouldn't have exploded ourselves back in the beginning.  memory is deceiving and now we the mirror fragments of ourselves say less and less everyday.  who am I?  do you know me? 



step onto this skateboard universe and ride.  trust is still the only option to take us through to the beginning, the spiral, the endless exist.  for without the joke we've built with death, this is difficult to handle.  For a God.  For a Goddess.  For you.
