Wednesday was, as my folks put it, my "Friday"--the last day of work before two days off. As I am now staying at ECC until something better comes along, I'm thinking this might be the start of a new 'something better'. I am so nervous I don't feel it and more than a little scared--scared that they won't want me, that I'll make a fool of myself, that there won't be anything available in my fields--or almost moreso, that there will be, that they will want me, and that this will be me starting all over ... read more

I haven't gotten fired from ECC, nor do I plan to. But it's becoming increasingly clear that this isn't going to be the dream job I want it to be and at the current rate, it's going to become something I probably hate. So...off I go again. 
I am a little sick of Belegarth politics. If I could, I would make myself into an ignorant, realm-centric fighter who cares nothing for what other realms are doing: guild program, service knighthood, BoW changes, etc. I wish I could go back to just worrying about my own garb and swinging stick on weekends, but a) I don't have the availability to go out to practices on Saturdays and b) I've set myself on this path of wanting to be better for the sport if I do find myself able to get back into ...
