There aren't many people on this Earth who I feel comfortable with immediately, but Natalie is one of them. It's like we've known each other waaaay longer than we have. She radiates joy and love... and not to mention that she's a beautiful dancer full of grace and elegance and dedication to her art. I love this girl!

I found out today I will be laid off from my day job in two weeks. I'm sitting on the fence on whether I should fight tooth and nail for a full time job, or whether I should give a middle finger to the economy and dance/teach full time. We got the chance last minute to host Raquy and the Cavemen for a show. Despite the late notice and the fact that we were up against Vista Lights, we had an amazing crowd and the restored 701 Whaley space was absolutely stunning. I have not seen a bad picture out of that show (go check out the Delirium Tribe, where I'll put some up momentarily), and we definitely want to use it again. What can I say that hasn't been said before?
Natalie is beautiful-both as a dancer AND a person. She's happy and goofy and FUN to be around. She's got supa skills with her kick azz headdresses.. She created a troupe in SC that was gorgeous to watch and it makes me proud to hear how she's "tribalizing" her city...... Oh, and she's an alien....a HAWt dancin alien at THAT!!! Natalie is an excellent performer, instructor, and costume designer. She is kind and generous and I have greatly enjoyed learning from her. There are many more trips to Columbia in store for me - I just can't seem to get enough.
