Professional Belly Dance Troupe Looking For Talent ( jobs » art / media / design ) The Mystik Dream Dance Company is looking for new talent! We are a Spokane-based dance company dedicated to teaching and performing the beautiful art of belly dance. We are looking for dancers that have strong technique, energetic stage presence and above all a commitment to dance. Experience in other dance forms is very useful, but not required.
Our company's goal is to bring belly dance to the mainstream in the Northwest. In late December we are filming a promo and commercial, in March we will be featured on the second season of Entertainment Northwest, and in September we are going to put on a full scale show at the Bing Crosby Theater. We also perform in some of Spokane's biggest events: Dance Fest, the Fall Folk Festival and First Night Spokane, among others. Our company also performs full length shows for private parties (weddings, banquets, birthday parties, etc). Applicants should be willing and able to learn choreography quickly and work well with others.
Payment varies, but for most gigs will pull in 50 to a couple hundred dollars, though some events only bring in tips or advertising.
