It works. Took me about eight tries to get it right. The trick is that it always has to remain polar/opposing/mirrored. Tricky at first but once you get it, it's pretty easy. Quite nice. HUGE thanks to Wizard at Emerald City camp for sharing that info. I want a geodesic dome tent for 2006. Badly. Or a Yurt. That would kick ass. I just want something that will hold up well under those rockin' playa winds and wall tents just don't seem to hold up as well. I also want a large reflective *something* to drape over the top to help keep the tent cool inside. Meanwhile! My goggles should be coming in the mail sometime soon.
