First of all...I braved SUB ZERO temperatures in Milwaukee this Christmas just to hang with him and the Potocic clan. Now that's true love, true friendship or just CRAZY!!! Okay, all of the above. This coming from someone who gets a chill if it drops below 75!! LORD!

Well, Nick's the first best friend I've ever had and hopefully I've got a LOT of good karma left because I want him to stay in THAT position for a REALLY long time. We have been through it ALL and his continuing committment to honor and grow our friendship has been extraordinary. He's one of the most beautiful, loving people I've ever known. He's a super yummy snuggler. THE most accomplished non-professional chef around, with an exquisite eye for detail and elegance. He's definitely got his own funky style and he literally came out of the womb telling people what to do and how they should do it...and it's hilarious because he's usually right. He definitely came into this world to lead and he does it gracefully.

How the hell do you get reliability, integrity, generosity, sweetness, quirkiness, raunchiness, eloquence, confidence and mad cooking skills all in the same package?

Nic is the best kind of friend. Always got something magical up his sleeve. Wether that be stage lighting a forest, whipping up a 7 course meal for his peeps, or making you think he's an alien, he's always down.
