Nicole is one of the most beautiful and talented women I know. No, really. She's a fantastic musician, a wonderful dancer, and an amazing costumer. She also has a laugh and a smile that you can't help but enjoy -- filled with a genuine warmth and maybe, just maybe, a sly inside joke.
The only bad thing about Nicole? I don't get to see her as often as I'd like. October 20, 2003
Aside from being completely adorable, Nicole is also a talented musician and visionary costume designer!

Thank you SO VERY VERY much to the wonderful folks who came out and helped me move a couple of weeks ago. Heather (who had no idea her visit to Janise was going to turn into manual labor!), Janise, Kathy, Steve, Thomas-- you guys rock my world. I've never been a part of such an efficient move before-- it was amazing! I still owe you all sushi-- I mean it! Let's go eat raw fish, on me.

The plan is to go to swing dancing at Midtown Stomp at the Eastern Star Ballroom in Downtown Sacramento on Friday April 11th. I'd love to get some idea of who might come (leave me a comment, if you don't mind), but please feel free to just show up and surprise me, too! :) 
So, tomorrow I turn 35. Whee-- now I can't even fudge it and say I'm in my early 30s-- oh, no, it's definitely mid 30s now! Ha ha.

Well, my original plan was to spend my birthday at Disneyland, but that's so not going to happen. For one thing, I can't really afford it, since I'm in the midst of buying a house (supposed to close escrow next week! Yay!) Gack. I just got a needle stuck in my right boob on Monday for the first time. It sucked, and I'm still bruised and a little sore! Presumably it's a cyst, but I get to go in for my very first mammogram in two weeks to make sure. Whee.
