Sharon Kihara show cancelled due to riots

Due to riots the Sharon Kihara show in Brussels got cancelled.

I feel so sorry for Artemisia and Nicole who spent so much time in organizing this.

I'm also bummed that I won't be performing on the same stage as Sharon. But that's nothing compared to the stress Artemisia is going through at the moment.

Riots, in Belgium, I can't believe it!

Incredible that we (Ishani tribal Bellydancers) are sharing the stage with them! I feel so humble thinking about it...

Ishani performance in Brussels yesterday

The performance yesterday evening in Brussels was marvelous!

The organisers gave us our own stage with professional lighting, so we looked great! :)
And the public was so nice! There were a lot of foreigners from all over the world and they really appreciated our dancing. They kept thanking us for our beautiful dancing!

A big thank you to all the dancers and Brusselleer!!!!

Performances with tribal troupe on 23rd of feb and 14th of march!!! Yay!

We are starting to get some gigs for our tribal troupe! That's sooooo exciting!
On the 23rd of feb we will perform in Schriek (Heist-op-den-Berg) with our tribal troupe, Lilly will do tribal fusion and mOni raqs sharqi!
On the 14th of march I will give a tribal style workshop in the afternoon in Brussels, in the evening we'll perform with our tribal troupe on the same stage as Ronny Mosuse!!!

How exciting!!!! :D Can't wait!

Tribal workshop

The tribal workshop I taught yesterday really went great. Everybody was motivated and we really had fun! Some of them will probably have sore arms and shoulders. Hehehe... ;-)

I couldn't teach as much moves as I wanted to. We only had one hour. But we managed basic turkish step, basic egyptian, maya and snake arms.

I really like to teach, it's so much fun! And it's so rewarding to see people getting motivated! Yay! :-D
