When I discovered electronic grooves, I realized that I was made to channel the frequency of energy that this music emits. My whole life has been a pathway lined with symbols, that have led me to my heart connection with this most modern, and momentous music. As a tribal fusion of the full spectrum of musical knowledge, it is as though the turntables are the modern symbol, or rather a technological symbol for the drum. The pulsating rhythms takes on an intergalactic, interdimensional, cosmic power with the evolution of the tribal ritual, where we come together through music and dance to travel on the rhythms into the spiritual centers of our beings.
Living in Seattle from 1992-1996, I crossed paths with many soulmates, and groovy brothers and sisters of this interdimensional heartbeat rhythm. As we evolved in consciousness to recognize that we were a tribal family, some friends of mine and I formed a production crew, that we called the Groovilicious Love Tribe. This was my first taste of 'community', as we began to really come together ritualistically to support one another on our journeys utilizing the ancient tools of music and dance to catalyze our consciousness to cosmic levels. With the events we produced in Seattle, we sought to bring the subtler frequencies of the musical experience to the conscious awareness of the dance music community. As a group of women, Groovilicious offered high quality standards and aesthetics to guide our creation of sacred space, as our focus was upon the unity and healing energy that was inspired by the spiritual awakening that has the potential to occur through ecstatic dance.
Eventually, however, I became disenchanted living within the confines of the urban environment. I felt as though I was diluting myself within mainstream mass consciousness (or unconsciousness), and so I sought to live closer to the Earth, and closer to the Source. I was magnetized to Mt. Shasta, as I had developed a connection to the cosmic consciousness that was concentrated in the community there, and so I moved in 1996 to embark upon my healing journey.
I have continued to be a rhythm keeper, organizing music and dance events with friends and family in the dance music community all up and down the West Coast.
In the present moment, as Gypsy Funk Productions, we organize ritualistic Full Moon Gatherings as often as possible in Mt. Shasta, as well as focusing our energies toward World Peace and Prayer Day on Summer Solstice to hold our sacred ceremonies within our interdimensional merkaba light body activation chambers at the sacred site of Mt. Shasta. An invitation goes out to all those who are called to join us for these ceremonial rituals for light body activation and for Planetary Ascension.
