I enjoy: Spontaneous acts of affection, laughing until my sides hurt, hopping on dry leaves to hear the sound they make, a really good cup of tea, movies, watching dance performances and going to festivals (when I can), and learning about things that I'm interested in. And like anyone else I like to go out with friends and spend time with my family.

So, for the past few years I sit forlornly and listen to all the after event details and stories people have of the amazing times they have at all the belly dance festivals they make it out to.

And I've finally decided to try and start seeing if there are fellow belly dancers from the Bay Area that are looking to carpool to LA or Sebastapol for some of the belly dance events. technically Im 18, but I'm turning 19 in about a month. 2. At what age did you start belly dancing? I started when i was about. . . .15 years old? I think??? 3. What year/decade was that? 2003 4. So, the past 8 months I've been living in Malaysia has been great. . . . but I really miss the states. I know when I go back I'm going to miss here a lot as well, which in turn creates this very annoying cycle where I don't really feel like I'm home either place. I've met so many amazing people this year, and I really wish I could take them with me back home, and share the experience that I had with them. *sigh*

So next year instead of going straight into a college here in the states I will be moving to Malaysia with my family for a year and attending school over there. BUT! It's only for a year, which isn't really that long when you think about it. . . I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I mean it's a totally different country and I won't know anyone there except for family and relatives but hey! New experiences. Urm the only problem possibly being their abundance of lecherous men. EEK.
