I don't ususally Blog, But....

I don't usually blog, but this seemed important. I apologize now for anyone that takes offence to this blog.

I have noticed recently that people, that have no barrier on other peoples live, take it upon themselves to judge others. When someone is happy, their friends always have to find something wrong with what they are doing. Is this because of the old say that "misery loves company" or is it just out of good old fashion jealousy?

The question that I have is that if we are truly someone’s friend, than why we can’t just be happy for them and support them in whatever decision they make and if it fails, be there to support them. That is what friends do; they support each other and not try to bring the other one down.

I just don’t get it. Maybe someone can explain it to me. Is this the way that friends are suppose to treat each other? If it is, than why would anyone want to have friends?

I would quibble that if someone's idea of fun, The Thing To Do, whatnot, Is indeed to muck with, screw up, people, occurrences, situations, then Yes, Piss Off and do expect to get no support . . . . .

But yeah, failing that . . . . .

You know the answer baby girl, some people can only feel good about themselves if they put others down...i do my best to pity them, but sometimes i don't succeed.

There is a name for that...
Sour Grapes.

Not all folks are like this but there are enough Sour Grapers in this world that it can affect those who are genuinely happy or optimistic or, Goddess forbid, actually in love.

Don't let these people piss on your parade. Part of learning Life's Lessons is that you will make mistakes and you will fail. Then you get up and try again. And again. And again. Hopefully you and your friends will rejoice when you suceed. And support/bolster/ encourage you when you are floundering.

I am curious. Why would anyone take offense to a rhetorical blog?
