<div>I don't usually do this but this time I have to....

Today when I was taking my foster daughter to her visit a semi over turned, jumped the median and smashed into two cars right before my eyes. The thing about this is I was in the process of changing lanes when this happened. Had I completed that lane change I would have been the truck that was smashed between the semi and the tow truck. The truck that both the people in it died.

My six month old foster dauster, my fifteen year old daughter and myself would have been burned to death if I had only changed lanes faster. One moment in time made alll the difference. I was the only car around, when this happened, that didn't get smashed.

I thank the goddess that my children and I are alive to see another day.

PS: this is a picture that I took five minutes after the crash.

It's a Boy!

<div>So I recently post that Nicki and I got a two week old baby as a foster child. We last night we went and picked up a 15 year old boy that is coming out as being Bi. He is wonderful. I am doing the whole thing of getting him in school and doing the school shopping.

I guess I have become a PTA Mom (or for those who know me a domesticated house cat)

It was so touching. Last night I took him to my motorcycle meeting. One of the other kids that was there ask him if he was going to be at a motorcycle show that is going to be in San Jose. His response was "If my two mom's are going to be there than so am I" When he said that it just got me. It is kind of an interesting thing being called someone's mom.

Anyway enough with the mushy stuff.

I just had to share with everyone.

I don't ususally Blog, But....

<div> I don't usually blog, but this seemed important. I apologize now for anyone that takes offence to this blog.

I have noticed recently that people, that have no barrier on other peoples live, take it upon themselves to judge others. When someone is happy, their friends always have to find something wrong with what they are doing. Is this because of the old say that "misery loves company" or is it just out of good old fashion jealousy?

The question that I have is that if we are truly someone’s friend, than why we can’t just be happy for them and support them in whatever decision they make and if it fails, be there to support them. That is what friends do; they support each other and not try to bring the other one down.

I just don’t get it. Maybe someone can explain it to me. Is this the way that friends are suppose to treat each other? If it is, than why would anyone want to have friends?
