about me
Unconditional Love is the presence of an awareness that the world and everything in it is made of the same stuff and comes from the same Source as one's Self. The presence of this awareness makes the world and everyone in it amazingly beautiful. The presence of this awareness is expressed by an intimate kinship with everyone under the great blue dome.
I'm seeking to make my life, along with all its circumstances and relationships, an expression of metta, of lovingkindess. There are a few passions that allow ample opportunity for me to form new creative relationships with others.
I am a poet/writer/philosopher. I just barely have started writing my first book. I continue to maintain a decent poetry gallery. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of hours pondering the deeper truths of life. I love to listen and to share as appropriate.
I am a deejay/shaman/healer. I've been deejaying out to public venues for just under a year. I continue to develop and maintain various skills related to the presentation of music for the purpose of taking a crowd on a journey. I have a collection of deejay mixes that are expressions of that journey. I recognize the power and ritual of music to literally heal the soul. I have seen hundreds of people expressing their unity through the power of a good beat! I love to celebrate life through these rituals along with inspiring and upbeat music!

Well, here's the latest and greatest.
It took me a while to sit with the San Fran choice. One aspect of the move to San Diego that was so appealing was the idea of being near my mom, so I could go have dinner with her on weekends, and being near essentially my whole family. Right now my family (blood of course) is Mom, three brothers by birth, and one brother by love and marriage.
There's Wes, Adam, Aaron and Maat. Maat is Aaron's husband, but he's a very near and dear brother to me....
