Now I'm back from Stockholm Bellydance Festival. After teaching a full *!* workshop (apparently it was full weeks before the festival) I realized there is a NEED for gothic bellydance. 32 students were trying to eat their mirror reflexions up (in a theatrical sort of way) before the workshop was over. Tomorrow Stockholm Bellydance Festival begins. It's THE biggest annual dance event this far in Sweden. I can hardly believe, that they're letting me both perform and teach this year. Not that I'd do badly, I suppose it'll be good, but it's all so traditional and Egyptian otherwise. And then me. This year I'll portray the light bearer showing you the way to Hell in my show. :) Let's see what they think this time. *moah*

I have just spent the most amazing dance weekend in Graz, Austria. I'm so greatful to Tamar (www.bellydance.at) for bringing it all together and also bringing me over to teach and perform.

I had such a wonderful time teaching the workshops. My students were very enthusiastic and seemed to really catch the idea of gothic bellydance. And the show... What a reception. I danced two pieces, of which I was a little nervous about the second. The song I was performing to was Unleash Hell a... read more 
My mother has printed out this picture, and keeps it on her locker door at work, with the text "Mom's little girl". I think I have a very special mom. ;D

No, I can't stop myself. I started the Gothic Fusion classes this year, the ATS study circle, and now Tribal Fusion technique and choreography classes. Today was the first lessono for my tribal fusion students. We worked really hard, and they LOVED IT!!!

I was lucky enough to hang out with this awesome chick for several days during Gothla, and let me tell you, not only is she an incredible and mesmerizing dancer, a talented costumer, and an incredibly beautiful woman (even with electrified hair, lol) she is also a great friend and the *funniest girl EVER*. Her sense of humor is sophisticated, intelligent, and said in the sexiest accent!... OMG, my cheeks hurt so bad from laughing so much!! I already miss her and I can't wait to see her again!
Remember the American floor treatments, we use milk in the midwest and californians use sangria. Beware of weird crossover crap and remember that if you ever go scuba diving, it is really hard to pee under more than 30 ft of water. when you 1st lay eyes on callisto the thing you notice 1st is the magnificent beauty of this womans soul! she is dark and exciting..not to mention she's extremly cute and well spoken...and give great hugs...the best gothic dancer gothenberg has ever seen! look out world..here she comes!
