about me
I'm a tribal belly dancer, instructor, costume vendor, henna artist, and overall gypsy for hire. I do tarot card readings and astrological evaluations. I also direct a dance troupe called Nomadic Magic Tribal Dance. Of course, thats just what I do for fun. I'm an outdoor and environmental educator by trade. So when I'm not dancing I'm teaching kids about the environment or participating in restoration efforts in the Chesapeake and MD Coastal Bay areas. Dancing and Nature are my two passions. I also like to read, design, and snuggle with my hubby, Michael. I celebrate earth holidays and star gaze every chance I get! Please enjoy being my friend and let me know if we can collaborate.

What an awesome event! I stayed at Maymouna's house the night before and I swear I saw Carolena's face as I drifted off to sleep. I could hardly believe as I set out at 6:30 the next morning that I would actually meet the creator of American Tribal Style bellydance. When I arrived at the Sitar center, there was Carolena and Megha standing right outside greeting everyone as they came in. I didn't realize from pictures how long Carolena's hair is (past her knees!) and how short she is. She was ...
