For the past five years, Max has served in critical roles in our nation’s government, including one of the most important legal positions in the country, White House counsel. He has devoted his life to the rule of law and the cause of justice. He will be an outstanding addition to the Supreme Court of the United States.

about me
I'm not a liar; I'm an optimist.
I have been driving across the country with my brother over the past month shooting a documentary about innovative environmental solutions coming from the American Heartland.
We've seen a lot of innovative projects and met with many interesting people along the way. But there's a lot more to come. Today we're in Wichita, Kansas. We've been to Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. Tomorrow we drive south to Oklahoma. I can't wait for our tour of the National Weather Service Storm Prediction...

The answer to the question, how many glasses of white wine can I drink at 11,800 ft before I get quite drunk is 3. My brother asked me suspiciously, "Can you ski?" I answered with a dismissive wave of my gore-tex gloved hand, "I can't drive, but I can ski!"
I've always felt that it loosens up the knees. I had 4000 feet to descend before I reached my favorite haunt for cappuccino, swiss liqueur and warm raspberries with ice cream. Later on, I would cuddle up, happily clutching my micro-fle...

I stand on a ridge at 3800 meters. It divides Switzerland and Italy. I take in a deep breath of the subzero air. At minus 20 degrees centigrade, it stings the nose and face. A stiff wind off the glacier briefly brings tears to my eyes. The sensation reminds me, I've stood on this ridge before...
I inched along the glacier in a total white-out, bracing against the howling wind with all of my might. The tears I shed, bundled up in my parka and my wool sweater with my Knisel White Stars clamp...

Amsterdam really is an orderly, charming and civilized place; if not slightly reserved. Yet coming from Mumbai, I was struck with by the awsome contrast. No touts, no filth, no poverty, no armed soldiers, so seething hoards of humanity. Instead there were museums, Mercedes Taxis, cafes, coffee shops, trams, and a super fun New Year's Eve costume party with a cute little dutch girl dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. I'll miss Amsterdam but not right now, cause now I have some serious skiing to...

Aldus Huxley called Bombay the most appalling city in either hemisphere. I can certainly see where he was coming from. The pollution, the crowds, the noise, the poverty...
But It was late last night: my driver - high as a kite; speeding through the cobble stone streets of Colaba, leaning on his horn, pumping Punjabi dance music and swerving to avoid obsticals, animals and crippled beggars, I found a seductive charm to this city and it's lifestyle.
I'm well into my visit to India, deep ...

Where are the Norman Oklahoma Burners?
(in Oklahoma)
My brother and I are on a road trip across the country seeking out environmental solutions coming from the American heartland. We're here all week and we want to know where the burners are hiding around here? What's fun to do in this town? After a...
