about me
I really dislike multiple choice personality questions.
I smoke a pipe and have never smoked cigarettes. When it comes to religion I consider myself a Quaker and occasionally attend the San Francisco Meeting. I suppose that many would consider me a christian with a small “c”. If you need a better description write. I’ve been involved in the Renaissance Faire(s) for over 20 years and the Dickens Fair since the Fox Theater. How many of either is unknown. I’m just not very good at keeping track of such things. I suppose that I’m fairly well known around the circuit.

Feets, foots, I know not much of such.
I do know that if I stand correctly my back doesn't hurt at the end of the day. Good shoes help a lot. It takes practice. discussion post on Thu, November 26, 2009 - 11:37 PM

Not speaking Mexican (or Spanish) I got the word from the article. Your word looks like it might be closer to the Aztec word. Could this be a class thing?

I'm sitting here planning for a vacation and I started thinking about my trip, last year, to Seattle.

The trip was by train to Seattle (Coast Starlight) by way of San Diego. That's San Francisco - Bakersfield – L. A. - San Diego – L. A. (again) – Seattle, about 3 nights. We had some delays outside of Dunsmuir, CA. While traveling on the Pacific Surfliner out of San Diego I started seeing OCTA buses. It took me quite a while to figure out what the signs meant. I was tired, having been on... read more
Some days I just feel OLD. I know 54 isn't OLD, I just feel that way.

Well I guess that's OK the Bullwinkle Show is on (bay area channel 20). Now that's a multi-level show. Quick, name Mr. Peabody's pet. I wonder if Jay Ward Enterprises still has their place near Highland on Sunset? You know, the one with the big moose out front. I use to go past that moose 5 days a week.
I’m posting my opinion as a blog so I don’t contribute to the flame war

Although I agree with the original post, Anastasia E’s post is completely inappropriate. Is about a modern situation and has nothing to do with the Dickens Fair. Justifying the post by saying that there was racism in Victorian England is the same as me posting a thread about Ford Mustangs and justifying by saying that the internal combustion engine was invented by a Victorian. It just doesn’t work.
It’s almost vacation time. The first full week I've had in years. I hope I survive. It starts off with the Pirate Festival (and possibly the June QSO Party) followed by 52 hours on trains and buses. S. F. to Seattle by way of Bakersfield and San Diego. Then there’s 2 days in Seattle and 24 hours on the train home.

And after only about 1 year. That’s right, Maggie, the type faces are almost done. Just 15 more characters out of about 100. Sorry no “italic” font this time. I’m also not creating the Watermark. Perhaps for version 2. For those that don’t understand. Watch this space and the Ren. Snobs list.
