wow it's been 5 years since I updated this thing... I pay attention to what goes on in my head and the world around me. I like to know the reasons a thing will happen and I like to know the motivations a person has. Before I get too serious, I laugh as much as I can - I feel a lot - I'm funny, I'm smart, I'm weird, I'm worldly and I have a big... ego. I'm gay I'm a Taoist and I've lived a crazy messed up life starting with childhood. What else is there to know? A lot, but that was a rhetorical question really... I'm a 35 year old gay man (as of February 2009) who lives, works and plays in the gay community but feels like an outsider to it... by choice. I find sarcasm to be an easy tool to deflect things that annoy me, but I save my true wit for the people I love and respect. And while I am actually modest deep down, I prefer to appear otherwise. Over time it becomes apparent why. I'm a recovering addict and I'm happy to have my life BACK - I feel like I am in control fo the first time in my adult life... or that I woke up from a horrible nightmare. But I am happy, even when I am not
