I know I'm not the only one stressed out about the economy. On a complete tangental not I saw DJ shadow last year at the Crystal Ballroom and it was the best show I've seen in Portland. So after partying all night at Black Rock Boutiques Mardi Gras party (and if you weren't there I hope you were atleast somewhere getting laid or shame on you for not coming) sleeping a couple of hours and having breakfast I said what the hell let's get my nipples pierced. One didn't hurt and one took my breath away and i haven't quite gotten it back. It still hurts like a some bitch. So please I beg of you be careful when you hug me and for god sakes stop pulling on my outfits. I enjoy being molested by women but goddamn don't rip my costume. V day

I usually hate Valentines day (usually I have work and school anyway) but yeah it's a dreaded day for me for many reasons, single or naught it has always been a very loaded day. So last Valentine's day was awesome (well except for being sick but I pulled through) I really just wanted to lie in bed all day but started with 10:30 am marionette rehearsals which went the worst of any we've done. (I think we aren't morning people, the rest have been at night) Then we packed up a 125 piece puppet stage that breaks down like legos (Geahk is an awesome maniac) Then we reassembled it at the Winingstad theater. Then their was an audio and lighting check. Then we had lunch and literally slept on the hard wood floor of the studio. Then we went back to the theater to be informed the show was sold out and we could sneak around in the dark upper reaches to watch the other acts. Then we performed and struck down the 125 piece stage and took it back to the studio. Then there was a police chase but only one of us got pulled over (we were caravaning very fast and the last car didn't make the light) Their was an afterparty at the nest but we were too tired and after making a cameo we went home. Yesterday I pretty much slept all day. I went to see Coraline in the evening it was really cool. My piece is still at the Love show if you didn't catch the opening.

This proves it. I posted an ad to Craigslist yesterday because I was bored at work and had a funny idea. It garnered more responses than my serious ads ever have and I usually post a picture of myself and not a picture of a sad bunny. I had an awesome time and I got to sing. Whoo I was nervous but it was fun. I unfortunately came down with a cold yesterday but I didn't let that stop me I dosed myself on dayquil and did the damn thang anyway. I feel kinda shitty now though. C'est la vie. It reminds me of a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. In this, our sixth year of putting on the event, we are very proud of the commitment and participation of the musical community here in Portland to the needs of troubled and at risk youth. the IDEA... to get together and sing a bunch of Cover tunes and collect Blankets and warm winter wear for kids living on the streets.
