My grandpa died last night. I just found out about it becuse I have been asleep since I got home from class yesterday at 6. He couldn't breathe. He told my family that he didn't want to go to the hospital that he wanted to stay home. He has a trech in his throat and a new medication that was making breathing harder. He basically suffocated. Nobody should have to go like that.

I'm taking women's studies classes because I think of myself as a sort of feminist. This one class has very outdated material, think 1977, and when I brought up the validity of the material the teacher got mad at me. It's the beginning of the 3rd week of school. I'm doing good. Got all my work done. Looking forward to my Pell Grant. I get an email two hours ago(this was from 4:57 PM Monday night) from the Financial Aid office telling me that they took back my money because I withdrew from the winter quarter becasue I couldn't pay tuition.
