Clever, cosmopolitan, professional-I-suppose, well-traveled and decently well-read, liberal, fairly deft with both written and spoken words (though I can't seem to speak as fast as I think), loving of cooking (almost more so than eating), avoidant of organized monotheism and sports (although these days you are quite likely to see me biking around the Berkeley hills), culturally Jewish but non-neurotic. Things I like: Thai food (used to live there); challenging conversation; great film; Brazilian music; traveling abroad (recently went to Bali/Thailand); eating anything well-prepared, from anywhere; attempting to cook same; scuba diving -- in warm water; and seemingly, using baroque punctuation and barely parallel sentence structures. I've lived extensively overseas (Thailand, Brazil, Argentina, Spain) and speak a few languages, but I like this area and want to stay -- at least, for now!
