It has been awhile since my first blog. I am still getting use to this blog thing; my first few attempts sounded more like letters to the editor than a blog. It is harder than it sound to write quick, causal notes to the general public, at least for me.

We are back from New York from a weeklong visit. The city has changed a lot in the past few years. For one thing, New York was the friendliest city we have visited in awhile. We can’t wait to go back. I dropped off a few fliers in cafes in the village for anyone who found one. I like dropping off fliers because it gives me an excuse to visit a lot of cafes and funky stores. I hope they are not too disappointing for a person who grabs one in hopes of finding a secret party only to see they got an ad for a book.

One good thing about blogs is they can just end.
