My Blog

I already have a blog devoted "leather living in New York" (that's on LiveJournal.com), and a blog devoted to reviews and comments on cultural events (on Blogger.com), so why here? To cover all the other personal stuff. Nowadays, it looks like there are few private diaries - it's all on blogs, so why not join.

One of the currents in my life as of late has been my search for meaningful friendship, hopefully leading to something more. Tuesday night, I had followed up on a tip I received from someone named "AceVentura" (I guess after the movie which I didn't see or the car I've never rode). So I chatted with him Tuesday night. A lawyer, he seemed mildly interesting, though not particularly verbose.

So I tried chatting with him last night (all of this chatting is online). First he was telling me how boring was his job. Then suddenly, he told me to turn on the tv and watch this comedy program. I told him the truth - that my tv was currently disconnected, because I'm moving things around inside my apartment. His response was: "oy" and then silence.

I realize retrospectively that he was watching tv the entire time, which may account for his hesitant speech. Feh. On to the next.

Actually I have "2" prospects. One is another from the online world, and another is a person I've met dancing. We shall see where these lead. Stay tuned.

( miscellaneous » travel / destinations ) "Cheap accomodations in NYC" If you don't mind hostel-like places, there are a number that are decent. If you don't mind a Christian hospice, Leo House (see below) is probably the best, at around $65 a night.
