I'm finally catching my breath after a whirlwind Spring. Three major distance (sailboat) races, and a trip to Europe for my company.

So, weekend before last, I had been thinking about commuting by bike...

It's 11 miles from the point at Alki to the canal at Fremont, and mostly flat. PLUS, it's virtually all along the water - Elliot Bay (downtown Seattle) or Lake Union.
