Although I spent many years in school with Oakes, we were in very different groups and only really shared the same room during band class. However, reintroductions to eachother through ACT in 04, I have gotten to know a warm fuzzy, unique, funny, laid back, totally Portland of a guy and running into him from time to time in life is always cool. As far as I'm concerned, Oakes is a great representation to himself, to others, and our city. Keep up the ass-kicking of non-violence! See you at the Burn?

when I first meet oakes his warm vibe consumed me, no one has ever done that to me before. He's one of those people that helps you follow your heart, and knowing him has made me so happy. he's easy to talk to, understanding, smart, loving, and so damn hot. he's made me a stronger person and I know my self better because of him. thank you for being who you are and being in my life.
