this weekend, my father and i visited the monastery of paul just underneat the 6000 ft summit cone of mt. athos in n. greece.

the abbot is a spiritual guide to my father, and I have grown to enjoy deep conversations with him.

it is very difficult to convey the experiences of visiting those monasteries and the remarkable monks that hold donw a version of harmony for the soul unique and unknown to most.
