Solid. Rock friggin solid and an honor to call a friend.
I would fight by his side any time any place.

John is the love of my life. He is wise and only speaks when he has something of worth to share. He fully embraces life and indeed grabs it by the horns and wrestles playfully with it. He is nuturing and uplifting to those around him. He is always looking out for people and willing to stick up for the little guy. He is also a bit goofy and silly at times which makes him all the more loveable. He is also the best cook I have ever met.
I am so incredibly lucky to have found [and married] this intelligent, funny, gracious, and handsome man. Take note, ladies & gentlemen - this one is mine!

I know John to be a sincere man of decadent pleasures. Needless to say, he's great to hang with! He could prepare a meal that'll make your brain ejaculate into bliss, sometimes with a beverage that'll help keep you there. His calmness oozes Groove, and you can't help but to ride his wave. To behold his abundant flow of love for his daughter is an inspiration for me. A cherished and respected friend.

about me
I was raised in the woods of New Hampshire by a pack of feral college professors. This instilled in me a great love of culture and a deep fear of civilization.

So I've been tagged on this art challenge.
If you haven't seen it, here is how it works. If you are one of the first three people to sign up on this blog, you get one piece of art made by me for you (probably nothing quite so grand as the piece pictured above, but hey, who wants an eight foot tall marble statue of a beautiful naked man in their house anyway)
The fine print....then you have to do the same thing. Post a blog and offer to make three pieces of art for whoever wants one...

I'd like to see you in the moonlight
I'd like to kiss you way back in the sticks
I'd like to walk you through fields of wild flowers
I'd like to check you for ticks

So Amanda and my travels in Hawaii have been wonderful so far. It is a place of magnificent and diverse beauty. It is also a place where, unfortunately, many of the old ways are in decline being largely supplanted by the new gods of tourism and real estate. The Old Gods, being thus deprived of their usual diet of sacrifice are occasionally forced to go out hunting on their own. I was fortunate enough to catch a picture of this one as it leapt from the bushes and caught a wandering tourist...
