Taking a moment to say hello and update. At the end of another week of camp. What have I been up to... sliding on a zipline 40 feet up, belaying people on the highest ropes course element in the country (100 ft up), teaching riding lessons, sword fighting, starting a contact juggling clinic here, playing capture the flag Camp Augusta style (Fire vs Ice... a battle of the gods), rope dart, staff, crafting, pottery... busy from 6:30 until midnight working every day, 15 ho... read more
It's only been a bit over a week... but I feel like I've grown exponentially and been here forever. A bit overwhelmed at the moment.... but growth tends to be.

I graduated!!!! I may not let go of the diploma for a while... just in case they try to make me come back for some reason. Leaving Oberlin tomorrow AM with Zak for the cross country trek. Tonight is for BBQ, brownies, and goodbyes. Going to miss a few people a whole lot, but it is time for me to continue on my way.

So I finally found ways to blow off steam from all the drama out here, such that it is simply an outside state that is no longer effecting me beyond making me productive.

I feel at home for the first time in Oberlin, and my jugglers aren't even here yet! I just got back into town today and got to unpack and start getting to know the space, Zak, Chris (my new housemate), and I ate dinner and now I'm just about to start sitting and getting a feel for the energy. but damn is it good to be home.
