I feel like I should have so much to say. So much of my life and, more accurately, how I perceive my life has changed. I have been evolving, devolving, and exploring what is truly natural for me. It's simple and real. Whether you know or not, I have made some significant personal choices that are in fact working well for me. I am content.

I've been up to a whole lotta stuff. I don't plan to get specific, so here's a taste:

a. got into lots of trouble.
b. some more trouble.
c. met my match.
d. got some trouble resolved.
e. working on resolutions for the rest.
f. calculating.

This has been an extraordinary time of my life, and I am wide open for all that comes of it.

I let my mind run amok today. Screeching through thoughts at ridiculous speeds. Whirring up a whole storm of emotions. Splashing with fantasies disguised as possibilities.

When I finally got tired of that, I set myself back on the task of taming my mind. I do this sometimes by journal writing about some concept that I am dedicated to creating in my life. Today, this was my focus.

I began studying Buddhism the weekend I arrived in Korea. It will be 2 years next month. While I was in Korea, I spent several weeks at monasteries and in temples. I was gifted great opportunities to study and live with monks. I lived across the street from a temple where I spent a good deal of time. My final 5 months in Korea, I began living the monk schedule of 4am meditation, walking meditation and work. I did this every morning with reasonable exceptions.
