I realized yesterday that I need to move. One, I learned yesterday at my feng shui class that my house is in the wrong direction for me. And I don't think I can fix it. My door needs to face north, which is actually kind of unusual in the East Bay where most streets run north and south and the houses then face east or west (like mine).

Two, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth, or just feeling unsafe due to an incident between my now ex-boyfriend and a neighbor. She's 4 blocks away, but still.

Three, there's construction going on right behind my house that's driving me crazy. It's a 3 townhome project being built from the ground up so there will be several months of varying noise levels.

Even if it's only temporarily renting a studio someplace that has a north-facing entry, I need to move.
