Wagging the Blog
A few questions...
Mon, March 31, 2008 - 11:52 AMPres, Bush said that the battle in Basra this last week was a 'defining' moment in Iraqi democracy, but that the Itraqi leaders need time for this to all work out. How does a defining moment take time?
Daniel Radcliff stated that the next HP movie is the funniest yet. How does Dumbuldore dying cause giggles?
I learned from a medical expert that Aspertaime (Nutra-sweet) tricks your system into thining that it's getting food, but delivers nothing, allowing the insulin that is released to burn up calories faster. The trick is that if you don't eat right after or before drinking a diet pop, your body starts to realize that it's releaseing insulin that isn't being used, and starts to reduce the amount released, thereby increaseing your chance of diabeties. The odd thing that I thought of was all the diabetics I know depend on diet pop for their artificial coloring and flavoring requirments, but it's helping them prolong or worsening their diesese.
The Chinese govt announced last fall that it had outlaw re-incarnation unless it was approved by the Central Commitee and everyone in the enlightened west laughed and giggled and said what silly Chinese. It's is silly unless your realize that the Dali Lama is belived to be a re-incarnated spirit of past Lama's and when he dies, the official replacement will be a party hack groomed to take orders from Beijing.
Why are all those people who were hypnotized with acheiving the American Dream and signed a loan that then spun around and bit them in the ass the ones to shoulder all the blame? Yes, you should know what you are signing, but you should also trust those who are lending their money wouldn't do it if they thought you'd default, right? In the recent past, those with sub-standard credit knew they had no realistic chance of approval and now all of a sudden they are good to go? Who wouldn't jump at that chance - being part of the myth and hoping for that step up into middle class? No, they should be punished for their mistakes (unless you're Bear Sterns - then the govt will bail you out).
When will we finally get to see a death on one of these reality shows? We are one low-ratings cycle away from "Rollerball", IMO.
Lastly, I have always wondered who will get custody of Donald Trump's hair when he dies?
