Did you know they let me in charge of children? phwa haha. I am currently working as a 6th grade core teacher in a school district in San Jose. Core is homeroom, which means english language arts and social studies. Teaching is totally what I was meant to do, and I absolutely love it. I have to be a little more mature and watch my language, and it's definitely a challenge. I'm around adolescents all day long, it's hard for me to not be their buddy. :) They're cutting the education budget in California, and we're totally feeling it. Help save our schools! I started doing pyrotechnics in 2007 since I wasn't going up to san fran as often. I helped with that really huge show off the piers in San Fran for July 4. I love pyrotechnics! I recently got my permit to handle explosives from the government. be scared! I started Muay Thai/Kickboxing at the American Kickboxing Academy first week of 2008. I go 4 times a week. I absolutely love it. I get my ass kicked, but it's awesome. It's taken time, but I had to grow up eventually. Uh...actually...since i'm teaching...i don't have to grow up at all. I guess it's all how you look at it. POWER TO THE PEOPLE! Let's see. What else...i like hugs and looking people in the eyes. I like to cuddle. I like to touch people. okay that sounded bad, but i communicate a lot through touch (i'm a massage therapist. go figure)... If any of this intrigues you, feel free contact me. After Christmas, I'm going to start training in kickboxing and jiu jitsu. I think it's time. I want to get my ass kicked and get my body in shape. I want the stress relief. I am 95% sure I won't ever compete (let's face it, I don't really like to get hit...but then again...I never really have gotten hit before...hmmm....all the other martial arts I've done were no contact...hmm...)...but I wouldn't mind being a sparring partner or something.
