Can you believe this is my first blog? I tend to be a fairly private person, so forgive me for not keeping you all abreast of whatsahappenin.....I'll try harder :)

Ok....so 9 things - 8 true, 1 lie?

1. I have a huge fear of silverfish. I shriek like a school girl.

2. I am a pisces, I love the water. When I was little, my dad nicknamed me "tugboat" because I would always jump out and swim behind the boat at the lake.

3. I have a fear of dying by drowning. I avoid driving near water in bad weather.

4. If I could have anything I wanted, I would open a refuge for all abused, misteated, and unwanted animals. I'd have enough money to keep vets on staff.

5. My favorite activity as a child was to scour the woods, finding cool rocks, animals, plants - pretty much anything!

6. My favorite girl scout cookie is a do-si-do.

7. If I could have one wish come true, it would be that no animal would ever be hurt, abandoned or frightened.

8. I was the Salem Apple Butter Festival Queen when I was 19.

9. When I was 5, I was tested and accepted into the gifted program. I was bussed into town and had a class with high school kids once a week. Our first project was a space module, and I remember feeling so dumb because I didn't know as much as the older students.
