I'll post more when we get our satellite connected (next Saturday!) but I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive, although tired. We've both been working overtime this week and I have a 15 page paper that's due on Tuesday. After that we can unpack more.
I feel like I'm living someone else's life. Living in someone else's house and doing someone else's job!
All is well. I think I was just hyped up on so much adrenaline last week that this week I'm crashing. I'm looking forward to being settled..
Congrats to everyone who has met their goals, have interviews for jobs, have bought cool new devices, who have gotten new jobs, past tests, reclaimed their cell phones, etc. I'll be back in the communication loop shortly.

Thatch and I are buying our first home in Worthington! Come celebrate by helping us make our house a home (in other words, moving all our stuff in). The moving date as it stands right now is set for December 1st which is a Saturday, and we can use all the help we can get. And even if you can't move objects (for physical for moral reasons) you can always come and distract me, as I will be unable to lift anything bigger than my cat. And e... read more
My next investment will be a digital camera. This past weekend, just after the equinox, I participated in a BTW weekend and have been blessed with a beautiful masterpiece of artwork on my lower back. (here's where the camera would come in) Its a Martin Original. Picture branches and leaves with fire, water coming into the fire and steam rising up. Yeah, I wouldn't be able to picture it either. Take my word Charon did a great job.

Is there anybody out there? I guess I'm just bored and lonely up here. There a lot of other nurses up here, but none of them have ever even heard of a djembe and fire twirling scares them. Ugh and I miss my friends! I'd love to find some like minded folks up here in Vt but so far, no luck. So I'm up in Burlington, Vt working as a travel nurse in the only hospital around for many, many miles. The people are really nice, but the hospital itself is a bit behind. Otherwise the assignment is tolerable.
