It's that time of year again. This month the Eros Society is planning our 5th annual Spanksgiving event, Nov 23. Unlike most events there is no theme for Spanksgiving so costumes are not required. We do ask that you follow the dress code. There will be play space with dungeon equipment, vendors and DJs as usual. We also have a few performances planned by several local fetish groups for the night.
This will be an open play/social night so come out and party with us all night long. It's a BYO event with mixers and munchies provided. This will be a low key chill event since we have been on hiatus for a few months giving people a chance to warm up for any activities. It should be a fun night.

Friday November 23rd
10pm - 5am
$12 members, $15 guests
18+ to attend, 21 to imbibe
Doors will be locked @ 1am! Late arrivals need to notify an organizer in advance to gain entry.
Since there is no theme this for this event just use a little creativity. Please read the dress code details.

Just a post since I barely visit many of my blog sites. There just never seems to be enough time in the day to keep up with stuff! I keep saying I'm going to try harder to post and use tribe but I can't drag myself out of LiveJournal. One day.

It's getting close to DragonCon time again so this event is honor of the geeks and fans among us. We want to see your adaptations of classic or completely original heroic Supers and diabolical Villains for this event. It would be incredibly easy to make up simple costumes for this so no bickering about dress code. Hell slap a letter on your leather vest and become "Ass Spanker!" or "Cat-O-nine tails" in an instant. Pair up and show us how Super Dude takes if from Wonder Gal and her magic strap-on or maybe how the Bat and his boy wonder train in that cave of theirs.

Saturday Guita, Mary and I went to the Luxuria School Girl party at Compound. Azure and Hooka Mike both started talking us into go during Transformus.
We had a good time and ended up hanging out with Thomas and Ruby for most of our stay. I'm certain Compound doesn't usually get people spanking and flogging in the courtyard too often. I even saw a few new Eros Society people out as well which was nice since I could actually socialize with them and not have to worry about event stuff. The music was atrocious so we headed back to Spring4th and HeXxt.
It was good to get away for a bit.
Now I have to start getting ready for the next Eros Society event. Super Villains sounds geeky but a lot of people are excited about it. Deco is going to be a big pain in the ass for this one though, I almost changed it for that reason alone.

I'm an organizer and promoter of alt events in Atlanta and run an alternative community center called the Spring4th Center for such events. My goal has always been to create a space in which others can freely express themselves in a variety of nontraditional ways. My events focus on free sexual and spiritual expression in a safe and sane environment. I organize a group called the Eros Society which is more of a pansexual play group that hosts monthly play socials for it's members and contributors, erossociety.org
I find myself as the Devil's advocate on many issues where a person will not open themselves to the many shades of gray that exist in everything. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with others so that we may learn from one another. Sharing thoughts with others allows gateways to be formed to paths that one or party or the other may not have explored.
